A strong federal IT resume is evidence based. For every major engagement, include the client or organization, role title, start and end dates, project scope, technologies or methods, and the responsibilities you personally performed.
Use language that makes the duration and depth of your experience easy to validate. When criteria ask for experience developing schedules, risk registers, architecture documents, security assessments or executive reports, make those deliverables visible in the project descriptions.
Avoid relying only on a skills list. Evaluators need to connect each claimed capability to a specific project and period of work.
